The health of your pet can contribute to or aggravate many behavior problems.

As an example, a cat's failure to use the litter box often originates with a common urinary tract infection.

Illness or skin problems can lower a pet's tolerance to stressful situations and retard efforts to retrain the pet.

Routine veterinary care and early identification will do much to prevent the development of an undesirable persistent behavior or habit.
